As with all Apple devices, there is a plethora of cool features that makes their devices so great. And the Apple MacBook is not an exception. Here are just a few cool features that you might be missing out on:
Taking cropped screenshots. This is great for if you need a part-screenshot for a blog, for example. All you need to do is hold down command, shift and 4 all at the same time. When you do that, your cursor will turn into a crosshair, where you can then select the part of the screen that you want to capture.
Invert the colours of your screen. This feature is odd, but great for if you’re in direct sunlight and seeing your screen is difficult as a result. You can do this by holding command, option, control and 8 at the same time.
App management. The tab key comes in handy a lot when computing. On a mac, though, you can use it to scan through the applications that you’re running. Simply hold command and press the tab key to switch through.
Apple symbol. Very much a random one, but you can type out Apple symbols. Simply hold down option, shift and K.
Put your mac to sleep. Good for time saving. Just hold command, option & eject.
Delete. No, not as in putting something in the Trash. We mean deleting from in front of the text, as opposed to behind it. Windows offer a ‘delete’ button that many people are used to. However, you can also do this on a Mac. Simply hold Control + D.
These are just a few ways that you can make the most of your Mac. Get exploring!
