I’m Rob Hamilton and I have been working at Code String for two years and nine months. I’m a Web Developer.
Tea is a big thing at Code String, and the first thing I do every day is make myself a cup to drink while reading yesterday’s notes and prepping for my day ahead.
I am currently working on a website for a well known board game company. This site will allow people to enter a promotional code they been given into an online draw and be told if they’re a winner.
My favourite choice of lunch is a team trip down the road to McDonald’s for Fast Food Friday. On other days, I like a chicken, bacon, cheese and mayo panini.
Some other things I have been working on this week are:
- MVC architecture
- Working through clients’ amends ready to push them to the staging site.
- Server side Google reCaptcha validation (this works out if you’re a bot or a real person)
The thing I like most about coding is using new technologies to create applications from scratch.
National Coding Week runs from 19th – 25th September 2016. To celebrate the world of coding and do our bit to encourage more people to join us, we are blogging every day this week about the day in the life of a coder.
